goTAO's Mission and Vision

The mission of goTAO is to:

  • Increase the TVL of the Bittensor ecosystem by offering innovative restaking mechanisms.

  • Foster the growth of DeFi within the TAO network, providing a foundation for new decentralized applications (dApps) and financial tools.

  • Promote interoperability and security, enabling stakers to maximize the potential of their staked assets while contributing to the network’s robustness.

goTAO envisions itself as the EigenLayer of Bittensor, leveraging restaking technology to create a secure, scalable, and highly interconnected ecosystem. The project aims to:

  • Enhance decentralization by allowing more participants to contribute to network security.

  • Expand the functionality of staked assets, ensuring that tokens in the Bittensor network can support multiple protocols simultaneously.

  • Drive ecosystem growth, providing a platform that attracts new projects to build on top of goTAO and Bittensor, thereby solidifying the TAO ecosystem’s position as a leader in decentralized AI and DeFi.
