Stake

goTAO’s staking allows users to lock assets, including ETH and $GAO (the native token of goTAO), into smart contracts, earning rewards in return. This staking infrastructure serves two main purposes: securing the network and providing liquidity. It is a crucial component of the goTAO ecosystem, designed to incentivize long-term participation while ensuring a stable, decentralized financial layer on top of the Bittensor blockchain.

goTAO integrates staking with a technologically advanced restaking layer, offering participants the ability to maximize their rewards through staking derivatives—stETH and stGAO—which represent staked assets and accrue additional rewards over time.
